Marvel Rivals details new PvE mode “Blood Hunt” featuring co-op battles against Dracula

Players can soon team up to fight off hordes of Dracula’s army in the new game mode Blood Hunt.

Marvel Rivals has revealed its new event game mode, Blood Hunt, coming on 23 April as part of Season 7.5. In a trailer, NetEase showcased the mode’s co-op PvE battle where players work together to fend off AI-controlled vampiric hordes, with Dracula and even Kingpin seemingly appearing as the final bosses.

Watch the trailer below:

What is Blood Hunt about?

In a bid to save New York City, four players can team up to take on enemies in hack-and-slash-style combat, while working together to guard each other's backs and strategise accordingly.

Similar to the previous Marvel Zombies PvE, players can choose from a limited roster of playable heroes–Moon Knight, Blade, Squirrel Girl, Thor, The Punisher, and Jeff the Land Shark–with duplicate characters also allowed. The heroes are expected to receive tweaks and adjustments to their abilities in this particular game mode via new skills and talent trees.

Players will be able to collect Arcana Scrolls to buff their heroes and equip a variety of gear to further increase their strength, as enemy hordes grow stronger over time. These enemies range from standard minions and bats to more unusual threats, including distorted versions of Marvel Rivals heroes such as a werewolf Captain America, also known as Cap-Wolf, seen in the trailer.

Many have compared the mode to Vampire Survivors (2022) and Megabonk (2025), due to its “bullet-heaven” style PvE gameplay featuring massive enemy swarms, damage number displays, and scaling progression.

More details are expected ahead of Blood Hunt’s official release on 23 April (UTC).

Marvel Rivals have been busy with constant content drops recently, and more to come. The trailer arrived just four days after the Season 7: The Hunt is On halfway update, which introduced the new Duelist hero Black Cat, alongside new story content and missions. More updates are on the horizon as Marvel Rivals is en route the massive Path to Doomsday campaign which is set to roll out across 2026, beginning at the end of this month.
