
For those who might have missed the most important news from the past week in competitive Dota 2 scene, here is a short review to catch up.
Digital Chaos won their first tournament
The third edition of BTS Series America ended last week with Digital Chaos claiming their first tournament title since their creation. DC defeated the Shanghai Major qualified team Archon in the best of five grand finals with a final 3-1 score.
The European competition at BTS Series has also reached the final stage and the winner of the second installment of the tournament will be decided today, February 15th at 17:00 CET. London Conspiracy and Team Empire will battle each other for Europe’s title.
Meanwhile the BTS SEA # 3series is still disputing the Round 2 scheduled games.
compLexity Gaming crowned Champions of Cana Cup Season 6
The sixth season of Cana Cup had doubled its previous edition prize pool and with the community help the money prize got a bit above $40,000. The tournament ended last Tuesday with a best of five grand final between compLexity and Elite Wolves won in a convincing manner by the North American team.

Noshang Invitational: a new $10,000 Dota 2 tournament

Starting February 10th sixteen teams will battle in a double elimination bracket with best-of-three series and a best of five grand finals for a share at the $10,000 prize pool money. Unfortunately Team Empire had to withdraw from the tournament due to roster instability.
A format change at ESL One Manila made Team Secret to reconsider their invitation
Nearly two months ahead from the LAN event that will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines ESL decided to drop their notorious single elimination format in favor of a GSL group stage prior to the main event bracket. A few days after Team Secret were officially announced to join the directly invited teams for the LAN event.
PGL to host a Romanian-only championship
The prominent eSports organiser has announced a tournament that is aimed exclusively at Romanian gamers. A grand total of $13,500 is on the line across three game plaftorms: Dota 2, CS:GO and LoL. Qualifiers for the tournament will be held at the beginning of March.
Mineski possible roster shuffle
The recent disappointing result at the SL|i-League qualifiers coupled with the disastrous eight games losing streak from MDL triggered a possible roster shuffle. An official announcement from the organization is still to be issued but in the meantime Mineski have been spotted to play at the BTS SEA # 3 and WePlay SEA qualifiers with team's coach, Mark 'Cast' Pilar instead of their Frankfurt Major offlaner and Pinoy veteran Ryo 'ryOyr' Hasegawa.
Natus Vincere qualify for DotaPit Season 4 LAN
The European qualifiers for the first LAN event of DotaPit are half way done - with Na’Vi grabbing the tickets for Split, Croatia after their last game series in group B.
The other European qualified team for the event is not decided yet but one thing is sure, it will be another CIS representative. Hellraisers vs Tornado.Rox is the decisive series and it will be played today, Fenruary 15th at 20:00 CET.
