The fascinating main event of Dota 2 Asia Championships is about to begin, and four matches are scheduled to take place in the first day of the main event. The top eight teams of the groupstage will attempt to keep their precious spots in the Upper Bracket, and every match will be in best-of-three format.
After the thrilling groupstage, it is time for the main event of Dota 2 Asia Championships! The 12 strongest competitors have gathered at Shanghai Gymnasium for the tournament's playoffs, scheduled to take place from February 5th through 9th. Today, the first four matches of the Upper Bracket will be held, each best-of-three, featuring the top-eight teams of the groupstage.

Game One [W : Team Secret]
Secret managed to get a very clean victory using their common DAC Shadow Fiend - Queen of Pain strategy against Invictus Gaming. The Chinese seemed to be doing rather well during the laning stage, responding properly to Secret's aggression and shutting down Zai's Clockwerk. However, the purchase of Eul's Scepter of Divinity by Arteezy and Orchid Malevolence by s4 changed the pace of the game completely, with Secret Team finding important victories in consecutive engagements to build an overwhelming gold and experience advantage. Knowing their strength, Puppey's boys marched inside iG's base with ease, and destroyed the first set of barracks by minute 24. Every comeback attempt by iG ended fruitless, and the inevitable end came a few minutes later.
Game Two [W : Team Secret]
In an attempt to take Secret Team out of their comfort zone, Invictus Gaming selected both Queen of Pain and Chen, along with Ferrari_430's Storm. In response, Secret Team just selected some of their common alternatives like Broodmother and Bristleback, entering the laning stage without issues. Much like the previous game, iG had several good moments, mostly ganks by Ferrari or June. Nevertheless, Secret got the upper hand as soon as they decided to five-man, and they seemed unstoppable against iG's attempts. Mere seconds after the 20th minute, the Western squad walked inside iG's base, and they met little resistance as they were destroying the bottom barracks. The GG was called by minute 23, yet another stomp for Team Secret.
