PGL Major Antwerp: Major upset stun big names in the Legends stage

Team Spirit leads the pack, with FURIA bringing up the rear of the table and heading into Champions.

Played over four days, the Legends stage for the PGL Major Antwerp saw sixteen teams play an intense round of Swiss System to determine which eight teams will be moving to the Champions stage, and which eight teams will be packing their bags, leaving Antwerp behind.

The first two teams that qualified were Team Spirit and NAVI, both teams playing a clean sweep for their matches. With the fifth round of the Swiss System over, we now have the eight final teams playing for the playoffs a.k.a Champions Stage for Major Antwerp.

Unfortunately, names like G2 Esports, Team Vitality, BIG and Cloud9 have been disqualified from the competition as they ended in the bottom half of the table of Legends.


The first match for the Champions stage will start in 1 day on  the19th of May as the competition takes a short break between stages. The first match will be between FaZe Clan and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

The PGL Major Antwerp offers a $1,000,000 prize pool, along with both ESL Pro Tour and BLAST Premier points for the teams to grab hold of. Follow the tournament at our PGL Major Antwerp page HERE to get the latest results and info from Belgium.
