According to coach Choya, the contract between the Korean roster and the FXOpen company will come to an end October 31st. Reasons for the dissolution as well as team's future plans are to be revealed at a later date.
FXO.KR came to be on July 18th, 2011 when FXOpen acquired the roster of fOu. Since the sponsorship came into effect, FXOpen were groomed into one of the most successful teams in the country and in the StarCraft 2 world overall. Under Choya's coaching, the team took home two GSTL gold medals (2012 Season 2 and Season 3) and one bronze medal at NASTL in 2012. Currently, the roster hosts several champions and notable players like Leenock, sC, Seed and Gumiho.
It is known as of today, however, that said roster will not continue under the FXO brand effective November 1st after two years of sponsorship. Coach Choya would not betray the reasons for the ending of the contract, only saying that "if [the] team continues, [it] will be a whole new team, not FoU".
