MMA and Duckdeok prevailed over the Slavic resistance in Titan and Starbuck in Ro16 Group D and put an end to the second group stage. Playoff pairings have also been drawn and the tournament will return next week.
Undefeated in every single Korean versus foreigner match-up, MMA and Duckdeok had no troubles getting ouf of the last Ro16 group. The Acer Terran once again showed excellent form and after placing top four in Europe Season 2 and DH Bucharest will get the chance to fight for Season 3 crown in Europe.
Same goes for the reigning European champion Duckdeok. Besting TitaN twice with aggregate 4-1 and dropping the winner's matches series 1-2 to MMA, Duckdeok placed second in Group D and paired with Genius in the quarter finals.
Speaking of quarter finals, all of those will be played on October 5th alongside the placement matches for the Season 3 finals. The semis and the grand final will come the next day, meaning the new champion of Europe will be crowned by the end of next week.
