Boxer steps down as head coach of SKT

Boxer announced today that he would be stepping down as head Coach of SK Telecom for unspecified health reasons after six months as head coach and nearly a year on the coaching staff, and leading SK Telecom to a fourth place finish in the previous season of proleague.

With Boxer stepping down it was announced that his former pupil iloveoov will step in his replacement. Iloveoov, who was worked as Terran-specific coach for SK Telecom during their BroodWar days, had to abandon eSports two years ago as he was enlisted for his mandatory military service. His return to SK Telecom was confirned some days ago but at that time it was not said that iloveoov will indeed be taking the position of SKT head coach, i.e. Boxer's previous job.

Boxer returned to SKT - a team he founded himself - in August 2012, abandoning another team which he founded, namely SlayerS. At that time, sources stated that SKT had previously extended Boxer an offer all the way back in 2010 but the legendary eSports figure had declined.
