Account never activated?

One of the more frequently occuring bugs the latest days has been people unable to login at the StarGate server, with the password that is given them. I received numerous e-mails from people who had the same problem. When we first launched the server, we handled a lot of these cases and all of them had the same reason; the user had misunderstood what the password for the account was.

However, the latest reports about the bug was not a misunderstanding from the user as we thought, but was a bug in the system. This caused us in the first place to assume the user did not actually understand the guide which resulted in answers like "are you sure you did everything right...?" etc. We apologize for being ignorant when the case was actually a bug in our system.

What to do if it happens to me?
We fixed the bug today and it is working as it's supposed again. Anyone who had their account activated and failed logging in with the password "changeme", please go to » this thread and report it. Thereafter we will help you re-activate your account.

Along with solving this bug, we can now launch the ladder rankings on the StarcraftGamers site, and we expect them to be published tomorrow afternoon, CET.
