Flash takes first place after a good run in June, and kicks down Jaedong to second place.

KESPA Ranking July 2008
Korea Flash KTF MagicNs 2349.8 +1
Korea Jaedong Lecaf Oz 2097.0 -1
Korea Luxury OnGameNet SPARKYZ 1668.0 +4
Korea Stork Samsung KHAN 1619.3 -1
Korea Bisu SK Telecom T1 1554.0 -1
Korea Mind WeMade FOX 1551.8 -1
Korea Sea MBCGame HERO 1412.3 +1
Korea Kal STX SouL 1407.4 -2
Korea Much CJ Entus 1373.6 +3
Korea BeSt SK Telecom T1 1316.6 +8

Flash has been practically undeafeatable for some time now. That is until very recently where he got eliminated from the OSL by Luxury in the quarterfinals and he's also lost to some players in the proleague that you wouldn't expect him to have lost to. This would provide Jaedong with an opportunity to reclaim the top spot next month, but he's not really been his old self either. The names to really notice here are Luxury and BeSt. They have been doing really well lately. Luxury was deafeated by BeSt 3-2 in the OSL and even had a early exit from the MSL, but has been a real proleague monster, with his only loss since early may being at the hands of FirebatHero. BeSt is the new blood for protoss. If he keeps this up, he's going to be the top protoss next month. He's been unstoppable.

Korea JangBi Samsung KHAN 1262.3 +5
Korea Hwasin STX SouL 1181.3 +2
Korea NaDa WeMade FOX 1178.3 -3
Korea July STX SouL 1160.3 +6
Korea free Hanbit Stars 1152.1 +/-
Korea Light MBCGame HERO 1011.8 -3
Korea Anytime Lecaf Oz 993.3 -8
Korea sAviOr CJ Entus 973.5 -7
Korea Rock WeMade FOX 972.8 +4
Korea BackHo Lecaf Oz 970.5 +16

July is back! Yes, we know BackHo jumped sixteen spots, but July is back so who cares? Interestingly enough these are the two players who are going to face each other in the remaining OSL semifinal. July hasn't played that many matches lately and seems to have benefitted from not having to practice for the proleague. NaDa seems to have lost a bit of that early summer form he had going with an exit from both star leagues and relatively poor proleague performance. Anytime hasn't won a PvP since February and seems to have developed a real weakness here, because otherwise his results are pretty good. sAviOr hasn't beaten anyone on this top 30 list since Feburary and it doesn't seem like there's a return to form for him on the horizon either.

Korea fOrGG Lecaf Oz 928.5 +1
Korea YellOw[ArnC] OnGameNet SPARKYZ 900.8 +4
Korea Kwanro CJ Entus 816.8 -4
Korea firebathero Samsung KHAN 810.8 +/-
Korea Rumble SK Telecom T1 767.3 +2
Korea UpMagiC eSTRO 756.4 -9
Korea GGPlay CJ Entus 712.1 -2
Korea Lomo Lecaf Oz 696.4 +9
Korea XellOs CJ Entus 668.3 -8
Korea Canata SK Telecom T1 628.5 -1

YellOw has not really had the best results lately, so the +4 is a bit of a surprise. He managed to pull out a win versus July in the OSL, but got knocked out of both starleagues and hasn't been playing proleague. This speaks volume about some of the other players in the bracket. UpMagiC hasn't won a game in months and XellOs has lost all of that great shape he showed two season ago. Lomo is an interesting name though. He's been doing well, particularly in the MSL. If he manages to beat Flash in the upcoming MSL quarterfinal he will no doubt continue his march up the rankings. A bit surprised FirebatHero hasn't moved up any spots. He's been doing well aside from the MSL defeat at the hands of Much.
