If you are planning to jump into the game’s Japan-inspired setting, you may want to free up a sizeable amount of storage space first. The install size for Forza Horizon 6 is enormous across both PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles. PC players should also take note of the game’s hardware requirements ahead of launch–all detailed below.

How large is Forza Horizon 6's storage space requirements?

Xbox Series players will be able to choose between two graphical modes according to your preference, with the Quality or Performance option.

For the Series X, Quality Mode prioritises visuals with locked 4K resolution at 30fps. Meanwhile, the Performance Mode prioritises smoother gameplay, allowing dynamic resolution to target consistent 60fps.

The Xbox Series S will see scaled-back settings due to hardware limitations. Its Quality Mode will instead see a 1440p resolution and Performance Mode, scaling it down to 1080p. Both modes on Series S will use dynamic resolution scaling to maintain a stable 60fps performance.
