WCG 2004 Chile

[s]event_wcg[/s]Chile this year had a somewhat messy WCG. I had a very hard time trying to obtain results from the official WCG site, that was updated rather late with little information other than two representatives had won first and second place for Starcraft. I knew about the results and the replay pack but I really was unsure as to the rest. They also apparently have the option of sending more than 2 qualifiers if they only had the funding although I am unsure of this too.

Let me quote VipEr after translating it.Starcraft WCG 2004 was a real mess in our country (note I am only referring the Starcraft people) due to the fact that the grand finals occurred with the participation on the Top 9 of Chile and it did not compare at all with WCG 2003.Regardless of the above complaint, the two best players in Chile will represent them at WCG San Francisco.

These guys have been as busy with the LG Cyber League as they have been with WCG itself. They recently lost to Argentina 4-3 and won to Bolivia 5-2. Anyway, from GosuGamers.net we wish them best of luck and we congratulate the two qualifiers.

Fortunately we have a replay pack of the event, but again, I am unsure if it is complete. Click on the flag below for the replay pack.
Thanks Mister X for finally letting me sleep.
