PUBG Mobile celebrates its 5th anniversay with a new mode and much more

PUBG Mobile begins its amazing fifth-anniversary celebrations with some huge reveals, including a brand-new mode for the game.

The old saying of “time flies when you’re having fun” goes a long way in gaming, but especially when we learn that PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds Mobile is about to celebrate its FIFTH anniversary. Having become one of the most popular titles in the mobile gaming market as it has grown over the years, PUBG Mobile is bringing its anniversary celebrations to its player base, with some epic additions being brought into the game, including a new mode – which will allow players to create their own in-game content.

World of Wonder is coming to PUBG Mobile, a mode that will allow players to construct and create in a free-build environment, with endless possibilities and giving players a whole new way to play the game. While the beta for this mode will launch on March 16, where players will have a chance to sign themselves up as creators and make a multitude of fun and new game-modes, it will be expanded on much further as they flesh out the intricacies of their latest addition. In future patches to World of Wonder’s testing, we can expect to see some of the most well-known locations of Erangel become available for tinkering – with Coral Reef, Jade Realm, Bird’s Perch, and the entire Erangel landscape itself being available to play with.

Leaving their new build mode aside, the anniversary update, which releases on March 18, 2023, will see the Imagiversary multimap makeover, which will give players a chance to find new areas in Erangel to compete for all the supplies and spoils. The festivities do not end there, with four new items also being included such as a new colourful Block Cover, the Supply Converter, the Portable Trampoline, and the Dual-Purpose Cannon.

The patch will also bring with it updates to the Payload Mode and the Metro Royale Mode, with Cycle 4 Season 11 and the Royale Pass Month 21 also coming into play soon. Prepare yourselves for the PUBG Mobile Fifth Anniversary update, which lands on March 18, 2023, with access to the beta features of World of Wonder already available.
