Lions Pride returns with Link and Danish squad

Lions Pride announced their new roster today which comprises four Danish players and an American. Despite losing their spot in the sixth season of Star Series, Lions Pride believe the roster has the potential to bring them far in the near future.

Lions Pride new roster, consisting mostly of Danish players from 3DMAX, debuted yesterday in Star Series' qualifier in an attempt to retain the organization's spot in the sixth season of the tournament.

Despite their recent 0-3 loss in the qualifier, Lions Pride are confident in the potential of the current roster and have decided to pick them up to represent the organization.

Statement by Damir 'NeStlik' Dedic, team manager:

First and foremost, I would like to welcome the new members of eL`Pride onto the team. After a very long process we've ended replacing the previous eL`Pride with 5 new members. Although this may be a bit harsh for those who have been excited with the previous squad we thought it best to pick up new players. We can promise a whole new and improved team off of the raw talent that they've already proven and with a little practice there is no doubt that they'll be able to achieve great things. Everyone here on eL`Pride would like to personally thank Massacre for being able to be a part of the team he has always be a good friend to our organization and will always be our first pride.

Statement by Sylvester 'Link' Christensen:

We are going to work hard and do everything we can to earn the respect of eL'Pride's followers and fans.

The old Lions Pride team had been plagued with instability and poor performance since the departure of Ivan 'Vigoss' Shinkarev on the 15th of February.

The Russian roster was also caught in a controversy a month ago when the team openly put out racist remarks and flamed Meenix, a Brazilian team, in the groupstage of Netolic Pro League. Nevertheless, Meenix ended up topping their group with no losses. More information on the incident here.
