The ANZHeroes King of the Hill series has come to a close with The Boys reaffirming their spot on top of the mountain with a 3-0 run last night in the final set.
The Boys gained their hold over the hill last week and were set for 3 tried and tested challengers ready to claim their kingdom. The Boys took a comfortable win on Infernal Shrines against Pesky AFC only to come up against previous kings and newly sponsored team Plantronics NV. However, an anticlimactic defense from Plantronics NV sawThe Boys seal the game with a full-shield Immortal in the 9th minute on Battlefield of Eternity.
Team Baxter returned this week as the third and final challenger for the hill and chose Infernal Shrines as their battleground. The stun combinations of The Boys proved too much for the challengers, leaving The Kings on top of the Hill undefeated on the final night of the series, a fine place to be in leading up to the ANZ regional qualifiers to be held later this month.
