Elyms and Exe will join NTE as Version 1.5 limited-time characters.
Neverness to Everness (NTE) has unveiled its next playable characters for Version 1.5, with the remaining members of ETD-6, Elyms and Exe, set to round out the team.
Elyms, who has received a major redesign, is the lieutenant of ETD-6, while Exe, who has remained something of an enigma in the game, is the mysterious captain of the division. Elyms will arrive in the first half of Version 1.5, followed by Exe in the second half.
Currently, NTE is featuring Blackbird in the first half of its Version 1.4 update, with Akane Rin set to follow in the second phase this 21 October.
Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming characters.
Elyms in NTE: Profile, release date, and more
Elyms is an S-Rank Cosmos user, sharing the same element as Esper Zero, Chiz, Hotori, Shinku, and Edgar. She is set to arrive after Akane Rin’s banner ends on 11 November, 2026 and will feature during the first half of Version 1.5.
Appraisers have encountered her several times in previous main story chapters, including Version 1.3’s “Rising from the Moonlit Fog”, where Hethereau hunters joined forces in the final battle against the Scarlet Letter.
As the lieutenant of ETD-6 within the Bureau of Anomaly Control, Elyms works alongside squadmates Chaos, Linko, and Exe.
You might not recognise her following her massive redesign, as Hotta Studio has replaced her vibrant appearance, including her standout blue and purple hair, with an almost entirely white colour scheme, as seen in her drip marketing.
Elyms’ Japanese voice actress is also revealed to be Sora Amamiya, who is also known for voicing Chizuru in Rent-A-Girlfriend, Aqua in KonoSuba, and Touka in Tokyo Ghoul.
Exe in NTE: Profile, release date, and more
Exe is an S-Rank Chaos user, making him only the second playable Chaos-element character after Daffodil. He is set to arrive in the second half of Version 1.5, which is expected to begin in late December 2026 following Elyms’ banner.
The character has been teased in NTE’s lore for some time, but his mysterious presence has finally been confirmed with this reveal. Exe is the captain of ETD-6, leading his squadmates Chaos, Linko, and Elyms.
His Japanese voice actor is Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, a prominent voice actor known for characters such as Kirito in Sword Art Online, Inosuke in Demon Slayer, Bell in DanMachi, and Sora in No Game No Life.
