Blizzard has paired two of the most anticipated hero releases side by side in this latest in development video.
Auriel from the Diablo series and Guldan, the iconic Warcraft warlock are fan favorites. Auriel has been buzzed over, requested, hinted at, and argued for ever since players saw Tyrael, and Guldan possibly even earlier. Both heroes look powerful in their own right, especially Guldan who seems to have an AoE fear ability that, you guessed it, causes a player to lose control of their hero.
I can already taste the tears now. World of Warcraft's most nefarious mechanic has finally arrived.
Auriel looks to be an aggressive ranged hero with multiple damaging abilities. She has two long whips that, in the video above, can be used to stun, knock back, and damage enemies. Despite her offensive looking abilities, it is confirmed that Auriel will be a support hero.
The new skins are cool as well, but let's be honest-- they pale in comparison to the two new heroes on display.
I mean, volleyball Li-Ming? What will they think of next.
