One of the biggest Heroes of the Storm events of the year will come to a conclusion this weekend with six college students (five players + one sub) battling it for the grand prize, full college tuition.
These Heroic Four teams from Tennessee, Arizona, Connecticut, and Texas have been competing since February and now they will all travel to Seattle, Washington to face each other on stage.

Recaps:
Round of 64 & 32
Super Sixteen
Epic Eight

We Volin- The University of Tennessee (9-3) - Despite having ex-Team Blaze player, roflcopter, on the roster, We Volin is the most surprising team to have made it to the Heroic Four as the only not number one seed to advance. The Tennessee natives faced elimination three times but were able to bounce back and advance. While you might think that they will be playing it safe this weekend, most players being fairly new to Heroes, don’t be shocked if you see some surprises from the UT team.

Dark Blaze- The University of Texas-Arlington (8-1) - Dark Blaze is quite the veteran Dorm team, much like it’s three opponents, and are favored to make it at least to the finals and possibly take the win. With three players currently playing for pro team Team Blaze, they will be relying fully on their successful pro experience to capitalize this weekend. Team Blaze is known for crazy, unexpected comps and even crazier plays, as well as adapting to patches quicker than any other team. Dark Blaze will be relying heavily on their strongest players, Yuuj and Kladeous to lead them to the top.

Tricky Turtles- The University of Connecticut (8-0)- With 4 players from last year’s roster that made it all the way to the Epic Eight, this talented and veteran team is looking to do more than just show up to the Heroic Four. To the UConn players, winning this tournament isn’t just about first place and paid tuition for college, it’s also about redemption and helping a friend in need. Last year the Tricky Turtles were disqualified when one of their players was unable to afford tuition after a relatives’s illness became too expensive for the family. This year Tespa pledged $10,000 to the player (who is not currently on the team) if they win. So when watching UConn this weekend know that they are carrying the weight of last year’s crushing disappointment but are also fueled by a refusal to leave any teammate behind in their desire to prove themselves. With DanLessfor3 and their leader, Tricky Turtles will absolutely be a forced to be recokned with in the Heroic Four.

Real Dream Team- Arizona State University (8-0)- Last year the Dream Team teammates were brand new to the game, admitting they just starting playing the game specifically for Heroes of the Dorm, expecting to maybe make it to the Elite Eight and get some perks. The ASU team made it all the way to the finals and fell in an intense 3-2 series to UC-Berkeley. This year they have been honed in on taking the top prize. You can be sure they will be the most aggressive players in the Heroic Four. With three veteran pro-players, the Real Dream Team is the most favored to win this weekend.
