Groups and casters announced for the North American Spring Regionals

With the venue being prepared and the talent chosen, all that's left for the LA regional is to wait.

North America is preparing once more for international competition and the stakes have never been higher. National pride, a $500,000 prize pool, and a trip to Korea are all in the sights of these qualified teams.

The brackets have finally been revealed, and they are brutal. Naventic and Cloud 9 are the likely favorites to advance from their respective groups, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Blaze and Tempo advance as well.

The casters and host of the event were also announced and it is a seriously talented lineup:

Former professional support player for Tempo Storm, Dreadnaught has been making waves with his casting and it's exciting to see the kind of high skilled angle that he can bring. Of course, you have two of the classics of SolidJake and Gillyweed, always reliable, always entertaining. And Zoia who has been an phenomenal caster for several years, but is a first timer for Blizzard sponsored events.

Once again, they're also giving away a free portrait for twitch viewers. All you have to do is link your twitch account to your battle.net account and watch the games. Easiest portrait ever, right?

The action begins 10 AM Pacific time live at twitch.tv/esl_heroes on February 27th. If you want to find out more information on the event, be sure to check out our coverage hub, and the two official announcements.
