In a very dominant performance, Kappa Wolves have taken ETS NA qualifier #4 without dropping a game.
Kappa Wolves showed no remorse today against Team Blaze, as they dominated the ETS NA qualifier. Their victory was decisive, not faltering at any point and performing flawlessly in teamfights. They were very consistent with their drafting as well, banning Abathur in both games and picking Tassadar, Jaina, and Johanna in both as well.
It's unknown what Team Blaze's draft strategy was in game #1, but they are known for being innovative and trying new things. Unfortunately for them, the no assassin, triple warrior comp they drafted proved to be ineffective against Kappa Wolves' heavy control and AoE damage comp. Artanis was likely the most interesting part of this game although he didn't accomplish much. It was a game heavily in KW's favor, and they closed it without much falter.
Realizing how their last draft failed, Team Blaze played it a little more safe in game #2, drafting a fairly standard comp aside from the rarely seen Lili. Again though, Kappa Wolves showed incredible coordination in teamfights, even able to secure two very early kills at the watchtower. All throughout the game Team Blaze was outplayed. Kappa Wolves were operating on the exact same wavelength and it showed.
ETS NA qualifier #5 will start on November 28th and will be cast by Khaldor on his channel. After today's matches, Murloc Geniuses still holds the #1 spot with 34 points, Kappa Wolves is now 2nd with 20, and Bob Ross Fan Club (despite their recent absence) are in third with 16 points. The top 8 teams from the qualifiers will be invited to the main event where they will compete against NA's finest for a shot at a $5000 prize pool.
