Team YL vs. GIA: A crushing start to BlizzCon 2015

In the first series of games at BlizzCon, Team YL played in both an aggressive and controlling manner to advance past Taiwan's GIA.

The Heroes of the Storm World Championship has progressed to games hosted at BlizzCon. The first series of the evening featured Team YL of China and GIA of Taiwan. Both were fighting to progress versus Team Dignitas in the next round.

The current bracket in Group A is as follows:

Match Summary:

The series began on Tomb of the Spider Queen, with Team YL taking their classic composition where they focus down one target using chain crowd control. Their composition in this match completely wiped out GIA by controlling the team fight pace. A combination of E.T.C., Tyrande and Kerrigan repeatedly roamed between lanes and got early kills that progressed into a 3 level lead and a win before 10 minutes.

The second game featured E.T.C. again, this time choosing Stage Dive to trap GIA's carries in the fight. YL clearly has shown their knack for wanting fight initiative and control. Adding Jaina and Zagara into their composition only helped in reducing the effect of GIA's Zeratul and double tank strategy by slowing and blocking accessibility to carries. GIA fought back handily multiple times in this match but faltered due to YL's endless pressure

Looking Forward:

YL will progress to face Team Dignitas later tonight. Team Dignitas has hopefully been watching the games as YL has shown their distinct style in focusing down single targets to gain advantage.
