Meet Your Maker has triumphed over Pirates in Pajamas 2-1.
With their recent tournament success, Meet Your Maker is a very scary foe to face up against. Pirates learned this well today, even though they managed to take a game off of them. Game one saw a very interesting double warrior, double support comp from MYM which ultimately paid off as they were able to stay in the middle of the map for much longer than Pirates. Being forced to ban out Murky did not help either, as MYM's deadly Murky strat is no secret on Battlefield of eternity.
Game two was a much different scene. With a super Illidan comp, MYM hoped to slice and dice through Pirates in medium length battles. But the lockdown was far too strong with Uther, Anub'Arak, and Arthas. Not learning from their opponents mistakes, Pirates also drafted Illidan in game three, but without any of the great combos to go with him. It was a back and forth series, but ultimately it fell to MYM.
As the qualifiers progress, it's becoming more and more clear who has what it takes to compete in ETS. After today's event, the new team rankings read as follows:
