How to start and result games

The qualifier is live! Find out below how to communicate with the opponents and how to result your games.


Find your match

  1. Press the "Tournaments" tab, and click the "Bracket" button for the relevant qualifier which will reveal the full qualifier bracket
  2. Find your match in the bracket and click it, this will send you to the match page
  3. Make you sure logged in when opening the page. You will see the Battle.net Tag for the captain of your team as well as the opponent's captain. Add the opponent captain and discuss further details.

 

Select map and heroes

  1. One of the captains start a session at HeroesDraft.com/enterthestorm and provides the opponent-link to the other team. Make sure the correct tournament and team names are used. You also need to post the observer view link in the match page comments.
  2. The setting to use is "Starting team" set to Random. Using /enterthestorm will automatically inherit the correct map and bans settings. Find out details about the draft in the rules.
  3. After map and heroes have been drafted, create a custom game with lobby mode standard.

 

Resulting your match

  1. After each game, enter the result at the match by clicking the button "Report Result"
  2. When entering result also state which map was played
  3. It is required to upload a replay of the game (*.StormReplay) when resulting
  4. When a match is resulted, the winner will automatically advance in the bracket

 

Facing issues and contacing admins

  • You may may contact admins by pressing "Reports & Messages" at the match page. Players of the other team will also have access of the messages written there.
  • You can also contact an admin or search for the opponents at #EntertheStorm at Quakenet. To access it, either use an IRC client or simply open Quakenet's Webclient.
  • Always contact an admin before assuming you get a default win for whichever reason

  1. 16.15 CEST - Round of 32 (best of one)
  2. 17.00 CEST - Round of 16 (best of one)
  3. 17.45 CEST - Round of 8 (best of one)
  4. 18.30 CEST - Round of 4 (best of one)
  5. 19.15 CEST - Round of 2 (best of three)

 

Weekday qualifier schedule (CEST = GMT +2)

  1. 18.15 CEST - Round of 32 (best of one)
  2. 19.00 CEST - Round of 16 (best of one)
  3. 19.45 CEST - Round of 8 (best of one)
  4. 20.30 CEST - Round of 4 (best of one)
  5. 21.15 CEST - Round of 2 (best of three)

 

Important notes

  1. Depending on the amount of teams registered, the rounds may be extended accordingly
  2. You may start a match sooner than the scheduled time if both teams and the admins agree
  3. You are not allowed to reject official casters to join and stream your game
