Starting from Tuesday, the 23rd of June, players will be able to log onto the PTR of Heroes of the Storm. There they will be able to test the Battlefield of Eternity. This is done so that any possible problems with the Eternal Conflict expansion are identified and tackled before official release.
In order to access the PTR, you have to download the PTR client which you can do by choosing "PTR" from the region dropdown menu. After installation is complete, a simple click on "Play" will bring you into the realm.
Butcher will not be available for preview and your progress level and gold will not transfer from your original account to the PTR account. All heroes and skins however, will be there for you to use, making sure you can try your favourite heroes in this new battleground. Just to avoid confusion, the in-game shop in PTR will be disabled so people do not make purchases in the test realm.
Don't forget the PTR phase is intended mainly to identify and remove possible bugs, so don't be dissapointed if any occur. The reason this phase is rolled out is so that all bugs are removed and we all enjoy an amazing official release on the 30th of June.
