Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is getting a jam-packed first season.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s first season of content is rapidly approaching, with new maps and game modes arriving in both Multiplayer and DMZ. New Operator skins, more weapons, DMZ Survival Kits, and more will also launch in-game when Season 1 goes live on 6 November, 2026.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 new maps
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Season 1’s full breadth of new content has been officially revealed. The big ticket items for Multiplayer are the three new maps available at the start of the season:
- Backstab: A war-torn map with inclement weather and abandoned tanks
- Canyon: A map with a river and cliff path with towering rock walls
- Shoot House: a reimagined version of Shoot House set in North Korea during a snowfall
As for game modes, the fan-favourite Grind mode is returning in Season 1, tasking players with eliminating enemies and recovering dog tags. Drop Zone will also return, with players having to fight for control over a single rotating objective while Killstreak packages drop periodically.
Overflow, a new factory-centred map, and Ministry, a map set in an embassy, will also arrive in the mid-season. Counter-Attack, a new mode where players detonate bombs at enemy Comm Stations while protecting their own, will also launch during Season 1.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 DMZ update
The DMZ game mode is also getting a new weapons facility called X01. This new location includes a maze of tunnels and hazards that will require full coordination with your squad. New DMZ Orders are also available inside X01.
On top of that, new equipment is also arriving in DMZ, along with Commander Hunts and more events scattered throughout Season 1.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Season 1 Warzone and weapon updates
Two new maps are arriving in Call of Duty: Warzone: Hajin and Zodiac. Additionally, the Season 1 battle pass also adds the Cronen Osprey Assault Rifle and CSG-35 SMG weapons. The battle pass includes over 100 new unlockable items, with a new catch-up system that guarantees over 50 rewards for anyone who purchases the pass.
With the latter system, you can simply log in to catch up to the reward matching the current day of the season, up to level 50.
