Using our stats page, anyone is able to easily access our database of tournament Heroes of the Storm draft's from all over the world. See what hero picks are dominating a specific tournament, or even compare regions with past patches. Looking at the most picked stats below, we can see some clear trends:
Note: Zeratul is by far the top banned hero across all regions. In fact, he is the only ban statistic that is dramatic enough to warrant conversation.

- CN and KR teams love Tyrael, especially when paired with another warrior. His diving strength and AoE defense is a big reason why Kael'Thas doesn't make the top 10 most picked heroes.
- Arthas is an anomaly that is best explained by this regions love of double warrior aggression. Though not seen on this list, Leoric is picked or banned a respectable ammount by this region. He is almost always paired with another warrior.
- CN and KR haven't fell out of love with Valla yet, and she still sees a huge amount of play. With so many warriors running around, her burst sustained damage, mobility, and potential burst damage (when talented around Hungering Arrow) make her a valuable pick.
- Sylvanas is still a popular pick and teams have not been dissuaded from using her, even with the recent Envenom nerf.

- Kael'Thas and Jaina dominate the NA meta. Muradin and Johanna are the warriors most suited towards protecting them, and their popularity along side the two mages seems unavoidable. This causes the usual mainstay Valla to not even make the top 10.
- If CN and KR have an unusual attraction to Arthas and Tyrael, then the NA equivalent to that would have to be Tyrande and Tassadar. No other region respects these heroes like NA does which, which hints at two things. Vision is important for NA, and they value the burst damage potential of Tyrande. Tassadar's usage may be a response to this burst damage, with Psionic Shield being used in defense of this strategy.
- Muradin and Johanna are the only warriors we see on a regular basis, with each apposing team picking one or the other. The double warrior strategy gets less and less popular for NA.
- Unlike CN and KR, but similar to EU, NA has embraced Malfurion as one of the most valuable healers.

- Similar to NA in almost every aspect except EU's consistent love of Anub'arak. The traitor king is used in both solo warrior and double warrior compositions.
- Tyrande is rarely seen in EU games, but the same NA love of Jaina, Johanna, Muradin, Malfurion and Kae'Thas is shared.
- No Arthas or Tyrael play, despite being the region to play these heroes the longest even when they fell out of favor.
