We think that every hero is special in their own way. But some Heroes are more special than others. This week we take a look at the specialist Heroes in HOTS as they dominate the winrate rankings from HotsLogs.com. Across all leagues specialists have four of the top seven winrates. Nazeebo has risen from the dead to claim the top specialist spot at #2 overall with a 55.3% winrate. He is followed by Murky, Lost Vikings, and Zagara, at overall ranks #3, #5 and #7 with respective winrates of 54.7%, 54.3% and 52.5%.
In Master Leagues Nazeebo also holds sway, as the only specialist in the top #9 at number #2 overall sporting a winrate of 62.4%. Bronze leagues see Nazeebo toping the boards, as the #1 overall hero with 49.8% winrate. While the worst overall specialist in Bronze League is Abathur with a 37.7% winrate, the worst specialist in Master Leagues is Gazlowe with a 47.8% winrate.

While Nazeebo might arguably be the best specialist; that doesn't mean he is the most special. We think all the specialists are fun to play, but that's because we are special ourselves. Which specialist do you think is the most fun?
On our mini-map: Team Snake
On our mini-map this week is Team Snake (Rank #4), who are on an asbsolutely absurd winning streak. The Korean team has won ten of their last eleven matches, with their sole defeat coming at the hands of Team No Limit (Rank #13). Among their victories are wins over Team YL (Rank #9), Team DK HotS (Rank #14), Team EDward Gaming (Rank #11), and Team eStar (Rank #3).
Not only are they winning a ton of games, they are beating the best of the best in the Asia scene. Team Snake is the team to watch as the Storm League Season 2 Playoffs continue.
Storm stream of the week
Do you like to party? These guys like to party. Super HOTS Guys is a stream with killer graphics and wonderful new retro wave music. Come for the party but stay for the gameplay as this group ladders through Hero League.
What is your favorite hero/class? Why?
I’m a big fan of assassin heroes, with Zeratul being my all-time favorite. He’s great for cleaning up that last bit of leftover damage, and can turn what would be a small victory into a decisive one.
What do you feel is overpowered and/or underpowered in the game right now?
I don’t feel like there’s any really overpowered abilities in the game right now. Everything has a pretty solid counter to offset it, most losses just come down to mechanics or bad composition choices.
I think Brightwing might have gotten hit a little hard with the nerf hammer, and the changes they made to Stitches in the last patch probably weren’t strong enough buffs for him. Merc Lord is also never worth taking with its current design, but I want it to be.
The one gripe I have about the “balance” in the game is the way most heroes tend to have so many junk talents. Kael’Thas is a great example of a hero who basically has one build. For the vast majority of talent choices in the game, there’s 4 choices but 2-3 of them might as well not even exist.
