We’re ready to announce our first GosuCup tournaments for the new season, beginning January 11.
A longtime tradition of GosuGamers’ is making its return for fourth year straight. The GosuCup circuit – a series of grassroots tournaments for Hearthstone – have been confirmed for 2017 and the first cups are just a week away.
As per the 2017 HCT ruleset, each GosuCup will award an increased amount of HCT points, up to 16. Every match in the bracket will be a Best of 5 Conquest and everyone in the top 8 will bank points towards the Winter Championship and Last Call rank. A minimum of 64 players need to participate in the tournament, so make sure to spread the word around and give start to an awesome year of GosuCup tournaments.
Just as last year, GosuCup will be held on both the EU and AM servers, with EU cups starting at 17:00 CET on the given dates and the AM cups starting at 17:00 EST (23:00 CET). All cups are completely open for registrations.
Format:
- Standard (no Naxx or GvG cards allowed)
- Single elimination
- Best of 5, Conquest

- Check in: 2 hours before cup’s start
Prizes:
- 1st place: 5 HCT points
- 2nd place: 3 HCT points
- 3-4th place: 2 HCT points
- 5-8th place: 1 HCT point
