The Hearthstone World Championship is down to the final eight. Who will wear the crown on Saturday?

In less than one week, the third Hearthstone World Champion will be crowned and one player will pocket the largest prize in game’s history: $250,000, a just reward for a year-long perseverance. Just three more matches stand between that player and the championship, but who will that be?

With Thijs “ThijsNL” Molendijk out of the running, there doesn’t seem to be a clear fan favorite among the top eight. Players such as Will “Amnesiac” Barton and Artem “DrHippi” Kravets have played perfect Hearthstone in the group stages, but there’s also a case for Julien “Cydonia” Perrault who went 8-1 against Il-Mook “Handsomeguy” Kang, the triple APAC grand finalist, as well as Pavel “Pavel” Beltukov, who recovered after disappointing opening day to tear through the losers bracket of his group and take a playoffs spot.

China’s line-up is also looking devastating with Jason “JasonZhou” Zhou and Zhuo “Hamster” Wang, the latter of which 4-0’d coach Hao “Bbgungun” Li with his Priest/Paladin line-up.

So, who will be the new world champion? Every region is represented in the playoffs and there are some tough matches ahead. The battle will not be easy. Give us your vote below.
