SuperJJ, ShtanUdachi, Rdu among the ranking leaders at DreamHack Summer after day one

They are all trailing behind local underdog Bozzzton, however.

Seven rounds of swiss are in the books at DreamHack Summer as 191 players gathered in Jonkoping for the second Grand Prix stop of the year. $27,500 is on the line as well as 43 HCT points to be split between the highest finishing players of the tournament. For all attendees, the goal for the opening two days is one: make it to the top 16 playoffs.

Many are very close or a lock in for that already. Local underdog Bozzzton finished Saturday undefeated and has secured his place in the elimination bracket. Trailing behind him are household names of the tournament scene such as SuperJJ, ShtanUdachi, Fr0zen, Rdu and Hoej, all of which are currently 6-1 and unless they score two losses today will also be in the final sixteen.

Of course, day one was not without its notable eliminations. Despite putting a positive record, three losses meant an ousting for Sjow, Zetalot, Neirea, Dog and Xixo, among others. Reynad, ElkY, Ekop, Forsen, Kranihc, Ostkaka and Powder will also not be moving forward with the tournament.
