The Dew Challenge Hearthstone Malaysia is past its mid point and we now know 20 of the 32 players to compete for the RM 17,500 prize purse next month.
For V Sheng “Omgimahero” Chin, Saturday was a day of grueling Hearthstone. Before he could eventually became the fifth qualifier winner of Dew Challenge Hearthstone Malaysia, Omgimahero had to play five close series, coming one game away from elimination every single time.
While some of his fellow Malay card slingers have been seen using unorthodox decks in the past to win or place high in the qualifiers, Omgimahero made no compromises, picking up arguably the three strongest decks in the meta right now: Midrange Secrets Paladin, Tempo Mage and Handlock. With the exception of Midrange Hunter instead of Handlock, this was also the line-up for his qualifier finals opponent Vincent “VincentV” Kah Wee Sen.
Muhammad “Kaka-“ Isa and Tze “Blu951” Ken Tan will also join the finalists at the December main event, coming in third and fourth, respectively.

Remember, there are more opportunities yet to register for the upcoming qualifiers and win a chance to compete for the even meatier prize pool of RM 17,500 in December. Qualifier #6 is happening this Saturday, November 14, at 13:00 MYT.
