Jeffrey "Sjow" Brusi announced via Twitter his departure from ROOT Gaming after six months with a team. There's no mention where the Swede will continue his Hearthstone career.

Originally known as a StarCraft 2 progamer, Sjow switched to Hearthstone earlier this year in pursuit of new professional successes. He was eventually picked up as the second player on ROOT Gaming, joining the Hearthstone roster next to Jason "Amaz" Chan.

Despite enjoying a fairly active SC2 career in his early days, in Hearthstone Sjow remained more a streamer than competitor, his best record being two top four finishes at WellPlayed Cup and Deck Wars Season 2 finals.

A tweet from a few minutes ago indicates that Sjow has also parted ways with the organization that has been his Hearthstone home for the last half a year. The Swede is the third player to leave ROOT in the past few months with Amaz leaving in June to join Team Liquid and Eggy also parting ways ten days ago.
