Just like Europe and just like in the Americas, Asia too does recognize the "April Fools" holiday. And boy, those Asians can be some cruel people when it comes to jokes. FighterForum pulled off ten jokes yesterday alone. YGClan.Com pulled a fast one on a few people and even than the eNature Top professional team go involved into the mix. There was just so many jokes moving around the community, it certainly made April 1st, 2006 a memorable one.

FighterForum.Com is a Korean website that has every news possible about the progaming scene and everything involved with it, inside and out. So usually when you would see a news posted by them you would think it to be very credible. Well, they pulled some fast, yet funny, jokes on the Korean community on April 1st.
 Iloveoov going ZergWarCraft based news XellOs left HQ and went missing WeRRa switching from WarCraft to StarCraft. Where he would than play with a joystick. TosSGirl will be casted in a Korean drama show.A married progamer would be having a baby in a month or so. The KOR twins, where not actually, twins. JulyZerg drastically lost weight.A progaming manager left his team to go direct movies. Nal_Rock will quit Pantech and Curitel Curriors, and than become a rapper.KTF gamers will be wearing a 20kg uniform, which they just released. |
YGClan.Com Shuts Down!
YGClan.Com is a well known team as well as a well known source for great watchable up to date replays. But, yesterday, they announced that they would forever shut down due to overflow of traffic in their download section. Meaning people are downloading to many replays and their host will shut them down. 1tym decided to fool a couple of people by stating that eNature Top professional team will start inviting "worthy" foreign gamers into their team. It made since seeing how eNature has been in a slump, but why foreigners? A lot of people got the joke right away, but still the news could have been real.
