Does Silver Palace have multiplayer?
This week’s new trailer for Silver Palace shows off its urban fantasy aesthetics, and anime-like playable characters. The gacha game has raised eyebrows since its first closed beta test held earlier this year, where players remarked on its unique approach to choosing a gender for the main playable character. The player will choose to play one of two siblings, with the other dying in the prologue to save their sibling in brutal fashion. The chosen character becomes the Detective.
This time around, the trailer spends some time on Silver Palace’s more grim elements as well. According to a press release, we see a doctor named Firtho examining a corpse formed from a substance known as Silverium, before the action takes to the streets. The Detective explores Silvernia and meets the game’s cast, including characters like Ashley, Gratia, and Red Rose.
A few snippets from earlier teasers are shown, including a dancing and flying sequence. Meanwhile, Firtho continues to examine the Silverium corpse before it suddenly fractures, spreading a silver liquid substance across the operating room.
According to a news release, the trailer also dives into a multiplayer combat mode at around the 1:10 timestamp. While the video does not show two playable characters on-screen at the same time, we do see the female Detective and other members of the main cast exploring various rooms in a strange house. Here, they battle against strange silver monsters.
The trailer ends with the enigmatic caption “House of Greed.” Silver Palace has been nominated for Best Mobile Game at Gamescom, and players can also check out the game on the show floor this week at Booth C021 in Hall 6.
A dedicated booth for the game is available at Gamescom with a playable demo, stage area, photo spot, and merchandise. Additionally, stage performances, cosplay interactions, and other activities will be available at Silver Palace’s Gamescom booth.
Silver Palace does not have a release date yet.
