We’re going to the wild, wild west.
R.E.P.O. has launched the Sunstone Update, its fourth major update since launch, bringing a wealth of new content and widespread quality-of-life improvements.
The biggest highlights of the update are a new Old West-themed map and monster, alongside expansions to existing locations, additional cosmetics and new items. We break down everything included in the Sunstone update below.

All-new content in the R.E.P.O. Sunstone Update
Sunstone Resort is the newest map added in the Sunstone Update. It is a Western-themed mine that also doubles as a tourist attraction, hiding objects such as shovels, crystals, fossils and more.
A new, uncanny-looking monster has also been added, and it’s simply called Pony. It is a Level 3 Monster capable of sprinting through rooms at high speed and snatching semibots with its tongue.
Three new items have also been introduced: the Human Gun, Human Adventure Cable, and Recharge Orb. The update also adds 10 new cosmetics and several new rooms across existing locations: five for Headman Manor, four for Swiftbroom Academy, four for the Museum of Human Art, and five for McJannek Station.
R.E.P.O. has also added a mirror next to the Cosmetic Machine in the Shop, alongside the ability to offer items to the Shopkeeper for a chance to receive a discount or have the item destroyed.
Players can now view a shopping list of items currently at the extraction point while in the Shop. They can also use an expression wheel to, well, express themselves.
On top of that, the game now features gamepad support, improved localisation with 21 newly-added languages and 10 new cosmetics.
