The latest trailer also gives a closer look at Rose Belmont’s journey through Paris and Dracula’s castle.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is bringing back voices from across the series’ history, with actors from both Netflix’s Castlevania adaptation and one of the games returning to their old roles.
Konami revealed the game’s English voice cast in a new trailer on 24 August, introducing Abby Trott as protagonist Rose Belmont alongside Graham McTavish as Dracula. The footage also shows more of the game’s gothic environments, exploration and some of the bosses Rose will face.
McTavish previously voiced Dracula throughout Netflix’s Castlevania series, and he is not the only actor making the jump from the animated adaptation. Alejandra Reynoso is also back as Sypha Belnades, Rose’s mother, after playing Sypha in the Netflix series.
Liam O’Brien’s return reaches even further back into Castlevania history. He reprises Isaac, the Devil Forgemaster he originally voiced in 2005’s Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, more than 20 years after the game’s release.
