What are the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra games for April?

Here is a closer look at each game title arriving in PS Plus Premium and Extra’s April lineup.

The Crew Motorfest

Start your engines for an open-world racing experience in The Crew Motorfest, where you can collect and drive supercars, motorcycles and more while exploring the scenic roads of Hawaii. If you enjoy Forza Horizon and arcade racing games, this is a strong addition to your library.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

Released in 2024, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered retells the acclaimed story of young hunter Aloy as she uncovers the truth behind a dystopian world overrun by machines. The remaster improves visuals, lighting, textures, animations, loading times, upscaling options and much, much more. It’s certainly worth picking up, even if you’ve played the original one before!

Football Manager 26 Console

Football fans also have something to look forward to with Football Manager 26 Console, a port optimised for console players. It’s essentially a football manager simulator where you get to manage your club, oversee transfers, develop tactics, organise training and guide your team to success.

Warriors: Abyss

Subscribers can also dive into Warriors: Abyss, Koei Tecmo’s hack-and-slash roguelike set in the underworld. If you enjoyed Hades and want something similar, this could be a great pick, especially given its Very Positive Steam reviews.

Squirrel with a Gun

If you are after something more light-hearted, Squirrel with a Gun plays out just as comedically as it sounds. You control a squirrel in third-person perspective who escapes a secret underground facility and causes chaos throughout a suburban neighbourhood.

The Casting of Frank Stone

There is also something for horror fans. The Casting of Frank Stone is a cinematic horror experience in which a group of filmmakers investigate the legacy of a serial killer. The Casting of Frank Stone lets you wind down from intensive gameplay and enjoy interactive horror instead, where every choice changes the course of your fate.

Monster Train

Rounding out the main line-up is Monster Train, a strategy title that combines deck-building with tower defence mechanics. The concept is pretty simple–you build a powerful deck, create synergies, upgrade cards, and fend off waves of enemies.

Wild Arms

Finally, PS Plus Premium members can revisit a classic with 1996’s Wild Arms. Originally for the first PlayStation, this beloved JRPG now returns for modern audiences. This games features your go-to RPG elements like turn-based battles, puzzle-solving dungeons, and classic storytelling.
