The Persona gacha game is getting a Hatsune Miku collab.

Game developer Black Wings Game Studio has officially announced the Global 1st Anniversary Unit for Persona 5: The Phantom X, and it’s none other than the musical sensation Hatsune Miku. Miku will launch as an in-game playable character on 25 June, 2026.

When is Hatsune Miku coming to Persona 5: The Phantom X?

Turn-based gacha game Persona 5: The Phantom X is kicking off the one-year anniversary of its global release with a bang; the game is welcoming Hatsune Miku to its roster of playable characters. Miku follows the game’s half-year anniversary characters, Caroline and Justine, and will launch simultaneously across all versions of the game.

You might be wondering: why would Persona 5: The Phantom X add a collab character for its one-year anniversary, and not a returning Persona character? Well, that’s where the game is utilising a clever loophole, as Miku is, in fact, a returning Persona character.

This version of Miku is designed after her appearance in the 2015 musical rhythm game Persona 4: Dancing All Night. Not only does that make her a Persona character, but it also makes her the game’s very first playable Persona 4 character, as no other character from that game or its related spin-offs have appeared in this game thus far.

Hatsune Miku will launch in Persona 5: The Phantom X on 25 June, 2026.
