When is Persona 4 Revival coming out?

Persona 4 Revival was originally announced in June 2025, remaking ATLUS’ beloved 2008 RPG in the same vein as Persona 3 Reload, a previously-released remake of Persona 3. While the franchise’s next instalment–the even longer-awaited Persona 6–remains nowhere to be seen, we now have a release date for Persona 4 Revival at long last.

Persona 4 Revival’s story revolves around a mysterious string of murders occurring in the rural Japanese town of Inaba. Amid this string of murders, players step into the shoes of a newcomer studying at Yasogami High School, where they will make new friends and stumble onto some strange happenings involving an odd television channel.

Much like the original game, Persona 4 Revival will balance turn-based combat in supernatural dungeons with social elements. The protagonist can form Social Links and deepen his bonds with the people of Inaba, and become stronger as they journey through the dungeon.

Persona 4 Revival launches on 18 February, 2027.
