After a disappointing 7th-8th place finish at TI 2025, Tundra reunite with the player who was instrumental to their third place finish in TI 2024.
Russian carry player Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko has returned to
Tundra Esports following his departure from
BetBoom Team in late September. Tundra made the announcement on Thursday (9 October), completing the team's roster for the upcoming Dota 2 competitive season.
Pure makes his return to the Tundra banner after his second year-long stint with BetBoom, which culminated in a Top 4 finish in The International (TI) 2025. His other notable achievements with BetBoom in 2025 include victories in FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 in March and PGL Wallachia Season 5 in June, as well as Top 4 finishes in ESL One Raleigh 2025 in April and Clavision Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi in August.
Pure was previously loaned by BetBoom to Tundra from January to September 2024, with the player notably helping the latter team to a third place finish in TI 2024. His first stint with Tundra also saw a third place finish in ESL One Birmingham 2024, and a Top 4 placement at Riyadh Masters 2024.
Tundra are now looking to bounce back from their disappointing 7th-8th place finish at TI 2025 by welcoming back the player who was instrumental to their Top 3 TI placement in 2024.
Tundra were notably the first team that played in TI 2025 to announce roster moves during the offseason, as Remco “Crystallis” Arets and
Martin “Saksa” Sazdov were moved to the inactive roster. Crystallis would later join
MOUZ, while Saksa has seemingly taken a break from competitive play.
Pure will now be taking over the carry role from Crystallis, while Matthew “Ari” Walker will replace Saksa as Tundra's position 4 support player.
Tundra are set to debut their new roster in BLAST Slam IV, a LAN tournament that will be hosted in Singapore in early November. Other notable teams competing in the event include
Team Liquid,
Team Spirit, and TI 2025 champions
Team Falcons.
