Na'Vi parts ways with Solo

Ahead of the Post TI shuffle, Na'Vi makes a change in their lineup, parting ways with Alexey "Solo" Berezin.

Na'Vi came in third place in the EEU regional qualifiers for The International 2022. That granted them a ticket to Singapore, to compete as one of 12 teams vying for the last two spots at The International 2022.

Determined to seize their place, Na'Vi started out strong. They ended at the top of their group with a 7:3 game (2:3:0 series) record. Things were looking good for the Ukrainian organization but they quickly dropped to the lower bracket after taking a 2:1 loss to T1 in the upper brackets. They made quick business of Tempest with a 2:0 sweep but were eliminated in the next round by Xtreme Gaming.

Not the results the organization or players were aiming for.

So ahead of the upcoming season, Na'Vi is making a change.

After just over a year, the team is parting ways with Alexey "Solo" Berezin.

Alexey «Solo» Berezin, who has played for the club since September 2, 2021, today is parting ways with NAVI. With him on the roster, the team placed 5/6th in the second season of DPC EEU and then significantly improved their results in the third, securing a trip to PGL Arlington Major 2022 with the second place. They were among the top three teams in the Regional Qualifiers for The International 2022 but lost to T1 and Xtreme Gaming in Singapore's Last Chance Qualifier playoffs.

We thank Solo for his professionalism and contributions to growing the club's Dota 2 branch and wish him luck next season.

Solo was one of two Russian players on the Ukranian-based roster. With the war happening and tensions constantly rising, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Solo and Na'Vi have parted ways.

The organization is expected to finalize their roster in the coming weeks before the start of the new DPC season in December.
