BOOM ID first team headed to StarLadder ImbaTV Kiev Minor

The first team to claim a spot at the StarLadder ImbaTV Kiev Minor is BOOM ID after an undefeated run through the qualifiers.

The SEA team based out of Indonesia has been making waves in the region and in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. Boom ID was invited directly to the SEA closed qualifiers for StarLadder ImbaTV Kiev Minor after an impressive showing in the DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major SEA qualifiers —coming in third overall and narrowly missing out on the main event.

Heading into the Minor qualifiers, BOOM ID proved that they were indeed the next team in line for SEA. They cruised through the playoffs of the StarLadder ImbaTV Kiev Minor qualifiers undefeated, taking down DeToNator and then Lotac - not only once, but twice.

This will be BOOM ID's second appearance in the DPC. They already participated in the Bucharest Minor, but ended with a 7-8th place finish and collected 28 DPC points placing them 28th overall in ranking.

Tigers, featuring Danil "Dendi" Ishutin still have not yet found their rhythm and failed to qualify for either the Major or Minor since formation. Also to note is that Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung was not playing with the team this qualifier.

The third Minor of the DPC 2018-2019 season will be held in Kiev, Ukraine March 7th to the 10th.

Eight teams will battle it out for the lion's share of the $300,000 prize pool, 500 DPC points and the highly coveted ticket to the DreamLeague Season 11 Stockholm Major.
