DreamLeague Season 8

DreamLeague’s 8th Season features 8 of the best teams in the world, all who battled their way through regional qualifiers, making their way to Sweden to take part in the final Dota 2 Major event of 2017. The event will feature a double bracket elimination format and the following are the teams taking part;

Europe Team Secret
Ukraine Natus Vincere
Europe Team Liquid
Russia Virtus.pro
China Newbee
Malaysia Fnatic
United States Evil Geniuses
Peru Infamous

With a massive total prize pool of $1,000,000 and 1500 Dota 2 Pro Circuit Points on the line, every team is sure to throw their all into each and every game in hopes of ensuring those TI8 qualifying points. The breakdown of the prize pool and Pro Circuit Points looks like this:

1st Place: $500,000 + 750 points
2nd Place: $200,000 + 450 points
3rd Place: $100,000 + 225 points
4th Place: 70,000 + 75 points
5th/6th Place: $45,000
7th/8th Place: $20,000

With only a few days left before the LAN event gets underway, the tournament is definitely shaping up to be one of the most exciting since the new season begun just a few months ago – with 4 of the participating teams holding the top 4 rankings for Pro Circuit Points and 3 of the teams who have yet to claim any points at all. You can keep up with all the DreamLeague Season 8 action here.
