SL i-league Invitational S3 tickets sale and LAN event format announced

StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 3 will open the Pro Circuit as the first minor of the season.

Held at the CyberSport Arena from Kiev, Ukraine, in less than two weeks from now, SL i-League Invitational S3 is the first event for the TI7 winners and runners-up, Team Liquid and Newbee, both coming to Kiev via direct invites. They will be joined by six other qualified teams, one from each of the main regions. Home crowd favorites Natus Vincere qualified for the event, and it’s going to be their first LAN appearance with the legendary Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin and Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich reunion, however, XBOCT being now the team coach. Although he isn’t actively playing anymore, XBOCT will once again get to go up onto the stage as Valve is now allowing the coaches to join their teams in the booths or the official playing area for the duration of the drafting phase.

Revamped rosters of Team Secret, Mineksi, now featuring both Chai 'Mushi' Yee Fung and Daryl Koh 'iceiceice' Pei Xiang, SG e-sports, compLexity Gaming and Vici Gaming will all be at the CyberSport Arena October 12-15. Tickets sales will go live tomorrow, the 5th of October at 14:00 CEST at the low price of $2.79/day for the first two days of the event and $3.75/day for the finals and the grand finals days. SL i-league Invitational Season 3 minor LAN event will be played in two phases: a GSL group stage with best-of-three games and two groups of four teams, followed by a single elimination bracket, best-of-three games, and best-of-five grand finals. The prize pool and the Dota Circuit Points distribution is yet to be announced, along with the group drawings and the broadcast team.
