Team Liquid part ways with Nisha after four years

Nisha departs Team Liquid to take a break from competitive play.

Western European Dota 2 powerhouse Team Liquid announced on Monday (28 September) that they have parted ways with star mid laner Michał “Nisha” Jankowski, who will be taking a break from competitive play.

Nisha first joined Liquid in December 2022 after ending a four-year stint with Team Secret. In Nisha's four years under the Liquid banner, he helped the team claim six Tier 1 tournament titles, including the championship of The International (TI) 2024. The mid laner also ends his stint with Liquid with a 59.15% win rate across 1,151 games.

Nisha's departure comes after a solid performance for Liquid in the 2025-2026 competitive season, where they won two Tier 1 tournaments in BLAST Slam VI back in February and 1win Essence II in early August. The team finished TI 2026 in 5th-6th place after losing to eventual champions Team Spirit in the lower bracket quarterfinals.

Earlier this month, Liquid begun retooling its roster for the 2026-2027 season by signing Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles as their new offlaner, taking over from Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard.

Liquid have yet to announce Nisha's replacement, though the team is set to compete in BLAST Slam VIII with Nai Zheng “MidOne” Yeik as a stand-in.
