Na'Vi drop three from their roster

After failing to qualify for The Boston Major, Natus Vincere have decided to change up their roster.

On the back of some rather poor performances, Na’Vi have decided to drop three players from their roster, namely Ivan ‘Artstyle’ Antonov, Akbar ‘SoNNeikO’ Butaev and Dmitry ‘Ditya Ra’ Minekov. At this moment in time the current Na’Vi roster consists only of Danil ‘Dendi’ Ishutin and Victor ‘GeneRaL’ Nigrini. These two players will form the basis of the new squad but no names or information has been given to who will be filling the three open spots.

A video regarding the future of the team and the reasoning behind the roster changes was also released at the same time, going in depth on these issues and why the current two players were kept on board. The video can be seen below and answers some of the more pertinent questions on this roster shuffle.

We will continue to follow the roster changes coming out of the Na'Vi camp and bring you information on their new roster as soon as it comes to light.

Will this roster change help Na'Vi overcome their slump?

In my Opinion, this was the first decent roster Navi had in Ages. It also seemed like they had a working team chemistry. Their results since TI6 were mediocre at best, so that is allways a sign for changes to come. But dropping sonneiko?!? Well, he can Join Liquid now and easily become the best Dota Team for long times to come if they find some sort of synergy and chemistry ... Navi trash tier again unless the really pull a rabbit out of their hats!
  • Aoi "alkermes" Kasuga ,
LUL. SoNNeikO is one of the best players even in Eurasia. And they keep dendi? what the heck... I bet VP will get SoNNeikO asap and they will become huge more than now.

The reason they let go of Sonneiko is because of communication issues..... Sonneiko can only speak Ukrainian language and no other language, NAvi cannot add new members outside Ukraine if Sonneiko can only speak one language .... if you all remember when they build team months before TI 6 they tried to add Russian players to NAvi but the problem was Sonneiko could not communicate with them so they had to get rid of those Russian players and add Ditya and Artsyle who speak Ukrainian...... I think NAvi is going to add more Russian/CIS or even European palyers and non-Ukrainian players to team ! and all those asking why they keep General and Dendi is because they can speak multiple languages and can switch roles if needed !
    • Aleksandar "shasav" dimitrov ,
ukranian and rusian and belorusian is the same language . ditya ra is rusian. what do u want to say i cant understand???????????
      • Aleksandar "shasav" dimitrov ,
i mean here sonneiko is not the proble but if they want not cis player then hi is a problem
      • Misha "reasonableman" Pipisukin ,
ukranian and russian languages aren't the same. russian people can understand few words here and there from ukranian language. tho most ukranian people speak fluent russian.
    • Misha "reasonableman" Pipisukin ,
not sure if you're trolling... it certainly seems like it. why would sonneiko speak ukranian? he's from uzbekistan. he speaks russian for sure, i heard his interviews. not sure about english.
    • Dmon "DmonBlu" Blu ,
The dude isnt even Ukrainian lol. He is Uzbekistan there is a huge difference... And yes he can speak Russian fluently not sure about other languages though. Russian and Ukranian is similar in written form but difference in speaking. Sure Russians can understand part of Ukranian language but not all. Nevertheless the reason why they kicked Sonneiko was becuz Dendi wanted more Ukranian on his team...
    • Denis "Vodka2Gud" Blah ,
Sonneiko is more closely related to Russia than Ukraine.. he speaks Russian not Ukranian, this is a false statement
  • Momo "SamsoN96" Jeremic ,
sonneiko is one of the best supports in the world i don't know what are they doing
