The fourth edition of the EMS One Summer Cups is starting today and for some teams it is going to be a deciding one. Alliance should at least collect 25 points, if not more to be in the top 12, whereas both Quantic and Fnatic.eu could - in a worst case scenario - lose their position if they don't go further than the first round.
EMS One Summer is about to conclude the cup stage to determine the 12 teams for the groupstage. Mousesports, Flip.Sid3, RoX.KIS, Rat in the Dark, Imaginary Gaming, Fnatic.eu and Quantic Gaming are sitting at the top of the table and are all secure.
The most interesting aspect in this cup is the fact that Alliance has only collected 25 points so far and should at least get another set of 25 points if not more to advance. Facing up against Venom Gaming, they should make it through round 1, but afterwards both Rat in the Dark and the winner of Fnatic.eu vs iCCup/MakingYouMad will be waiting for the Swedes. Two other Swedish teams are on the verge of advancing as well. Both 4FC and Keita Gaming are sitting at 60 points and if they survive the first round, they should be able to make it under the top 12.
