It took three matches for Kaipi to take down Evil Geniuses in the finals of the EMS One NA qualifier playoffs. KP will represent North America in the LAN finals that will take place July 13th-14th.
Evil Geniuses could not stop Kaipi in their way to the offline finals of EMS One, as the squad lead by Jacky 'EternalEnvy' Mao proved to be too strong to be messed with. KP have earned a spot in the LAN showdown, and will also be financially supported to some extent by the hosting organisation, making sure they can travel to event. While EG has done well to disprove their "EG throw" stigmata, Kaipi seems to be on a roll at the moment.
EMS One Summer American Qualifier Playoffs:
Kaipi has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with since March/April pickups of EternalEnvy, Arteezy, and ComeWithMe. The change also served to solidify their mentality and put them in the zone, which Typical Mistakes saw as they lost 0-2 to Kaipi. Meanwhile, Artyk saw full well that EG is adapting well to their new substitution of SexyBamboe, losing 0-2 to EG.
