After additional tumult, Fy and XTT announce their departure from ViCi Gaming, together with their manager and coach. What this means for the future of the team remains to be seen.

ViCi Gaming announces departure of Fy and XTT after falling just short in qualifying for the competition in Seattle. In the eastern qualifiers to The International, ViCi lost the deciding match vs RattleSnake where the winner was guaranteed a trip to Seattle, either as wild card or as direct participant. In this case RattleSnake won vs ViCi but went on to lose vs LGD in the qualifier finals. In addition to getting eliminated from the qualifiers, Vici also failed in advancing to the playoffs of Dota 2 Super League, despite beating LGD 2-0 in a convincing fashion.
Due to the disappointing results, both Fy and XTT were removed from the team as announced at the player's Weibo pages, even though former coach Nada previously claimed Fy to be a versatile player capable of playing any hero. In addition, Nada is also leaving the organisation together with PandaPanPan, the manager of the team. It seems like Vici currently is falling apart as a whole, a fact that is also strengthened with their second team Vici 2 disbanding.

Cty is said to rebuild the team in a stronger fashion, still being the captain of remnants ZSMJ and Fenrir. Cty is a player who has showcased a solid consistent playstyle throughout the last months with innovative heroes and strategies. He also won a cup recently for solo playing. What happens with the team after this remains to be seen, the same goes to the people leaving the squad.
