Aghanim's Cup, the third TPL qualifier cup kicks off on Sunday, with Fnatic facing Virtus.Pro at 14.00 CEST. We are also announcing the winners of the TPL tickets contest, so check this article to see if you are one of the lucky winners.
Evil Geniuses and Mousesports, the winners of the two previous cups, are leading the group with 130 points each. The upcoming cup is fundamental, as it will solve the tie between the two teams and determine who is the rightful owner of the first place, earning an important advantage in the qualifiers. The rest of the teams will also battle fiercely to earn enough points for a higher ranking position.
This cup will be a tough test for Quantic, as they will see how they perform against Europe's finest after being selected by their new sponsor. The cup will also be a challenge for G-1 Winners, Alliance, after some recent sloppy performances in online tournaments.
All the matches will be played in a single elimination format, with the grand final being a best-of-three match.?
