LGD.cn tame housemates to open Phase 3
LGD.cn played with discipline and slowly gained the lead in game in a tied series against fellow housemates, LGD.Int. Invictus Gaming will play rising pub star team, Chains Stack to kick off Group B in G-1 League.

The International team went with their usual strong mid-game lineup, while the Chinese team went with their signature 4+1 lineup. LGD.int challenged LGD.cn’s trilane, and the former looked ahead on all lanes based on hero composition.
As expected, the Radiant squad took control of the game early. Storm dominated mid lane against the melee Clockwork, Lone Druid was also having his farm against Dark Seer, and the offensive trilane, and the offensive trilane with Lifestealer is dealing decent pressure against Anti-Mage. To make matters worse, the courier of the Chinese team got picked off. If anything was going for the Chinese team, it is that they have a slight experience lead because of their unblocked pull camp.
Lifestealer made a nice TP gank mid, allowing him and Storm Spirit to get the kill on Clockwork. LGD.int also proceeded to take the first tower 12 minutes into the game, as the Spirit Bear and the Diabolic Edict brought down the tower fast.
By the 14th minute, LGD.int already has the three heroes with the highest last hits. With Lone Druid and Lifestealer going for cost-effective items in Armlet, they are already prepared for their planned mid-game pressure. The international team introduced their Storm Spirit’s Orchid with a Lifestealer bomb at the top lane, securing four kills for the team
Storm went to hunt for Anti-Mage on the Dire jungle on minute 20. While he failed to kill LGD.cn’s carry, his team was able to kill all other heroes. A similar situation happened seven minutes later on the Roshan pit, as the Chinese teams again lost all their heroes but Anti-Mage.
With LGD.int targeting Shadow Demon every time they initiate, they are effectively able to eliminate one here from the Chinese team even before a team fight fully develops. They utilized their Aegis to take the top barracks by the 31st minute.
Anti-Mage was picked off the next minute on the bot lane, and buy back isn’t available. Without that hero, the Chinese has no way to stop the push and they called gg as LGD.int easily dived uphill on the bot lane and wiped the Dire team.
LGD.int surprised everyone by choosing Treant Protector on their last pick. Even more curiously, they placed the hero on the offensive trilane. The pick was actually working well for them, with Treant using his Global-range Living Armor to heal up Queen of Pain, who is being harassed heavily by the Nature’s Prophet. However, the rarely-picked hero overestimated his tankiness and gave up the First Blood nine minutes into the game to a four-men gank.
Magnus was able to get his Dagger at the 14th minute, and the Treant protector was able to get his as well despite dying early. LGD.int wanted to surprise their enemy, as they geared up for a four-hero gank at the bottom with a blink-overgrowth for initiation. It was LGD.cn, however, getting the better of that scenario. Nature’s Prophet has perfect timing on his Teleport, and he used his mekansm just in time to heal up his teammates. Magnus also arrived to complete the counter gank, and the Chinese added four kills on their score, as well as two towers on the bottom lane.
By the 21st minute, a big lead was already secured by the Chinese team. Not only that they were far ahead on gold and experience, they were also dominating the team fights. The score than was 10-0 for their team, with a 6-2 tower lead.
The big was too lead for the Int team to overcome. By the 28th minute, the Chinese pushed bottom and completed a team wipe. The gg was called right after.
LGD.Int placed Lifestealer again on the off-lane with the support of Leshrac and Shadow Demon against the Juggernaut tri-lane.
Once again, the game started out slow and the First Blood came only 6 minutes in against the Lone Druid. LGD.Int however, invested a lot of time to kill the bear with a smoke and a teleport from Nature's Prophet. LGD.Int's supports rotated to the bot lane and pushed the tier-one tower.
The early pressure from LGD.Int gave their Lifestealer a sizable farm compared to the Juggernaut. LGD.cn made a move at the Lifestealer 12 minutes in but was unsuccessful despite dropping the Black Hole. Lifestealer instead, got a Double Kill. LGD.cn lost all their tier-one tower by 13 minutes.
After a 10 minutes stalemate, LGD.Int finally made a move at the top lane to which the Chinese team managed to repelled. While the rest of LGD.cn attempted to pick off the overconfident Lifestealer, the rest of the European mix split push bottom and threatened to walk up the high ground. LGD.cn backed off. LGD.cn tied the kill score at 8-8 30 minutes in and took the lead for the first time 2 minutes later after they killed Tinker. LGD.cn retreated as Tinker bought back.
LGD.cn took down the third Roshan 40 minutes in and claimed the Aegis and the Cheese. With those, LGD.cn sieged LGD.Int's barracks and destroyed it uncontested. LGD.Int gave chase to the retreating heroes but it was LGD.cn who picked off Tinker who attempted to split push. More and more of LGD.Int's heroes died running around alone and soon enough, the item advantage built up for the Chinese as they take the game.
